SOLD - Mid Century Kon Tiki Bowl by Inger Waage for Stavangerflint Norway

This absolutely stunning mid century 'Kon Tiki' bowl is so full of vintage Scandinavian charm! Designed by Inger Waage for Stavangerflint of Norway in the mid 1950s, this bowl features a rich, colorful, geometric floral motif and a subtle texture around the rim. Extremely hard to find (especially in such great condition!), this beautiful bowl is sure to be the star of your vintage dinnerware collection.

Condition:
➝ In very good condition for its age. No cracks, or repairs, and the colors are still rich and gorgeous. Surface of bowl shows crazing in outer glaze. Outer rim shows minor signs of discoloration from age, and there is one very thin, faint line of mis-placed blue paint on the front of the bowl (best seen in fifth photo, left side of bowl - use zoom tool to view close up). Back of bowl has a small area of discolored crazing, as well as a small chip near the rim (shown in last photo). Overall, this is a gorgeous piece with plenty of life left in it. Price reflects noted flaws.
