SOLD - Large Vintage Crewel Embroidery - Bouquet of Roses

This colorful vintage crewel embroidery is so sweet! Hand embroidered crewel work in brightly colored yarn depicts a beautiful basket of roses on an avocado green background. Piece is stretched over plywood and framed in a beautiful light wood. Picture wire is strung across the back, so this beauty is all ready to hang and admire!

Condition:
➝ In very good condition for its age. A few missed stitches on a couple of the small white flowers (best seen in 5th photo). A few light spots of discoloration on the green background (mostly below the yellow vase) - use the zoom tool to view photos close up. Frame shows light wear, including a few small dings and spots of discoloration. Overall, a gorgeous piece with plenty of life left in it!
