First off, one of our String of Pearls plants is blossoming! Guys, I didn't even know blossoms were a possibility, but now that I've seen those little white pom-pom cuties, I'll be hoping for more and more!
One of our little cactus cuties is also jumping on the blossom bandwagon, and looks like it's just about to bloom! I'm SO excited to see what color the flowers will be! I promise I'll keep you all updated - I'm sure you'll all be on the edges of your seats!
Earlier in the week, when I still had the strength to hold a drill, we finally got around to putting a few things on the wall in our bedroom. (Does anyone else feel like the bedroom is always the last room to get any decorating love in a new space?)
We've had this moon print since our last bedroom, and kept meaning to hang it up, but it was finding this little tree shelf at the thrift store a couple of weeks ago that finally made us want to put them both on the wall. I'm thinking plants for the little shelves? (Big surprise, right? Hah!)
We haven't had a chance to go all out with Halloween decorations just yet, but we have been generously sprinkling wee pumpkins around the house. I'm especially loving them in the living room this year because they match our orange accent wall!
These gorgeous farmer's market flowers have been keeping me extra cheery this week. I definitely need to plant some zinnias next year, as I just LOVE the rich, saturated colors.
And last but certainly not least, I've been really enjoying watching Amiina the cat chase disco dots around the dining room. If you think cats like laser pointers, you should see them around disco balls! I'll have to get to work on a video to share with you all soon!
That's all from my end! Hopefully I'll be ship-shape in no time and will have plenty of updates and adventures to share with you next week. In the mean time, I'm headed back to bed! Until next time, friends - keep looking for reasons to smile (and take your vitamins)!
